The Really Wild Show CD Rom

The Really Wild Show (CD Rom) is a piece of CBBC merchandise in the form of an interactive CD-ROM that was based around the popular CBBC show The Really Wild Show.

The CD-Rom was published by BBC Multimedia around November 2000 and was designed to be played on a computer running a Windows 95 or Windows 98 operating system platform.

Description[]

Introduced by Michaela Strachan, The Really Wild Show lets you enter a world of adventure jam packed with information on your favourite animals.

Explore zones from around the world to see if you can find the 50 hidden animals. There are fact files for each animal with video clips, images and sounds from the BBC's Natural History Unit. When you think you know enough about an animal you can try answering a question; get it right and you can add the animal to your collection.

Pick'n'mix from the nature zones' animals and put them in the beast blender to make some very weird wild animals! Discover what happens when you cross a mouse with an elephant! Or visit the Art Cave and paint wild pictures with animal inspired tools.

As well as the fast action on the Bombardier Beetle Bash shown here there are three other games: Eager Beaver Builder, Coral Maze and Wildebeest Migration - a game of strategy and skill.
